I was at Peppercorns last night with a friend! The food and frozen were excellent, the server was friendly and personable, and the atmosphere was pleasant! What a gem! We will definitely be back!

Went there for an event and they had a buffet which was ok. Reason for the 4 stars was because some of food was just way too salty for my taste. But with good tasting seasonings.

Peppercorn's has a wonderful local historical ambience, delicious food and a very friendly staff. Our waiter Chris had a great personality and was very helpful. My sister, friend and I loved the hydragenas out front too! It happened to be my birthday on Saturday 9/18 and it was a good place to eat on our way to karaoke.

I went there for the first time with a group of friends from work. The ambiance was perfect. The food was great, the service was awesome. I loved it so much so I decided to bring my whole family back the next day. Looking forward to many more visits to this little hidden treasure.

We had my husbands 30th birthday party last night at Peppercorns (upstairs room). What an amazing place!! We were beyond pleased with the food, service and overall setting. We met Chris a few months beforehand to put together a package. He was very personable and helped us with all the selections for our event. Linda assisted us with all of the details to make sure the day was perfect. Our incredible service staff for the night Suzie, Susan and Matt were fantastic!! They worked SO hard to make sure my husband, myself and all of our family and friends were well taken care of. They worked so well together and my guests also commented throughout the night on how kind and friendly they each were. What a dynamic team we had the opportunity to work with! Overall, we were comfortable, everything was clean, plenty of parking, very organized, and well-managed. Although I dont know his/her name, I would also like to thank the chef for making the time to add on last-minute meal accommodations for some of my guests with dietary needs! I know that wasnt easy to do on a busy Saturday night. What awesome memories we now have thanks to the entire staff at Peppercorns. We are truly grateful! Highly recommend this restaurant!

I feel horrible living in Hicksville for 51 years and always forgetting about Peppercorns. Nicely dim lit bar/restaurant. Staff is attentive to your needs. Cozy establishment. I enjoyed my food. The menu offered plenty of choices. I sat down for dinner. I was happy with the chef specials. I felt that some of the pricing on meals was high but an entree, salad or soup, and dessert for $24.95 was a great deal. I had the petite fillet, melted in my mouth. I had two cocktails. I believe Peppercorns is a hidden gem in Hicksville.

Great food in a Historic firehouse

I had an amazing time at this place. We loved the great ambience and the food. The staff members were super friendly. Im content we ultimately managed to try this restaurant.

They now have outdoor dining and it's always super busy here. We decided to try dine in and as soon as we walked in we were seated in a warm and cozy spot. Love the vibe here. Hubby was certain he wanted steak (Marinated Flat Iron Steak) and I didn't know what to get. The waiter was kind enough to make some suggestions and I decided to go with the Rack of Lamb. He mentioned the Petite had 4 pieces and the Full had 8, so I went with the petite.

For drinks we got coke and water. They first got us some fresh warm bread. Shortly after, our food arrived, it was pretty but I think the portion was kind of small for the steak. Food was alright. Or maybe I just had high expectations- it wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing!

One thing that truly impressed us was their digital-menu: Like you scan the barcode for it, and it opens up a link via Safari / Mobile browser. I thought that was pretty cool. They called it the contact-less menu.

As for dessert, we decided to try the Tartufo - which was a chocolate shell with vanilla ice cream and some cherry goodness on the inside. Again, pretty decent, nothing out of the world-ish.

Great place to go. Peppercorns has a great menu and the staff is great. They have some of the best specials. I have been going to peppercorns for 25 years and we will go for 25 more.

This is certainly one of the most pleasant restaurants in the neighborhood. Every time I come to this place I am very glad. They keep their high level service and the topmost level of dishes they offer. You will be always satisfied with this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

I live 4 miles from the restaurant, and figured I'd try it tonight. I will say one of the best experience I've ever had. It's casual with class. A place to get a great meal and drinks. If you're looking for a nice night out without the crazy atmosphere, and especially being able to talk to your party guest I would come here. I will for sure come back!!!

This place really takes you back in time. At least that's the kind of vibe I get, it's a bit dark, which I love, the train tracks are visible from the window, it's just a perfect spot for a nice little low key night.

St. Patricks Day in an Irish Pub is always taking a chance But.....We enjoyed our St. Patricks Dinner at Peppercorns immensely. Mammy had the County Mayo Chicken, i had the prime rib (yum yum) and Poppa the sizzling flat iron steak The green beer was hopping. And some Irish tunes popping on the sound system.
It was so busy but the staff was great. They ran around to each table and made-sure everyone was taken care of. Its one thing if you see staff goofing off but these folks are always super busy making sure everyone is doing ok. We did have to stop our waitress to request the check but thats ok she was super busy. Thanks for topping off a great St. Patricks weekend. Highly recommend Jimmy & Seans restaurant.
